#WorldBloodDonorDay is celebrated on June 14th every year and to raise awareness about this, the School Safety Club at Meru International School Miyapur, organised the Blood Donation Camp on June 17th, 2023 in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross society.
We would like to thank Mr Ajay Mishra, Chairman of Red Cross Society, Telangana State, Mr K . Madhan Mohan Rao, Gen secretary- of the Red Cross Society – in Telangana state and Ms K . Swarna Latha – state project Coordinator, Red Cross society for gracing the occasion with their presence.
The students of the School Safety Club presented a beautiful skit based on the importance of Blood Donation. Other student volunteers presented information related to the steps to be taken before and after blood donation, and the steps that are followed post the donation till it reaches the Blood bank.
We saw an overwhelming response from the school and the neighbouring community & we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to making this event a resounding success.
