SELF GOVERNANCE DAY

On 24th December 2024, Meru International School proudly observed Self-Governance Day, a special occasion that provided our students with a unique hands-on experience in leadership and school operations. On this day, our Student Council members assumed designated administrative roles, gaining valuable insights into the operational aspects of the school.

This initiative allowed students to step into the shoes of school administrators and understand the behind-the-scenes processes that contribute to the smooth functioning and growth of our institution. By taking on these responsibilities, they not only sharpened their leadership skills but also reflected on how they can actively contribute to the school’s development and create a positive impact within our community.

The event also featured discussions and decision-making activities, highlighting the importance of having a voice, taking responsibility, and practicing self-discipline within a structured environment. It provided our students with an opportunity to reflect on the significance of governance, not only within the school but also in the broader context of society
