Young Engineer Program: Exploring Architecture, BIM & Sustainability
At Meru International School, we are committed to nurturing curiosity, creativity, and career aspirations by giving students real-world exposure. In collaboration with My Home Group of Constructions, our students recently participated in the Young Engineer Program (YEP) — an initiative designed to introduce them to the dynamic fields of Architecture and Construction.
The program provided hands-on insights into Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Sustainability, two disciplines shaping the future of engineering and design. Students explored how technology and innovation are revolutionizing construction while also understanding the importance of building responsibly for tomorrow.
Through immersive sessions and expert interactions, young Meruvians got a rare opportunity to envision themselves as future engineers and architects — blending creativity with technical expertise. The experience not only sparked interest in STEM careers but also instilled values of innovation, responsibility, and forward-thinking
