Ai Assessment With 5 Step Reflection
The 5 STEP Reflective Practice
Reflective learning practice is ‘learning through and from experience in order to gain new insights about student’s strengths and challenges and attain maximum student progress. As rightly mentioned by educators, reflective learning practices are indicative of deep learning and lead to the growth of the individual – morally, personally, psychologically, and emotionally, as well as cognitively.
At MERU INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL we follow a rigorous 5 step reflective process that enables student success. This process begins with a well planned and structured approach to class learning which is reinforced by regular home assignments.
The 5 step reflection process then follows with
Chapter wise test: This provides a holistic assessment model which comprises of both formative and summative assessments.
Self marking: Encourages students to assess their work and be effective learners.
Teacher review: This enables students and teachers to evaluate the achievement of learning objectives. Teachers then provide feedback that is specific, informative and focuses on facilitating children to evaluate their own learning performances to gain mastery.
Relearning supported by teacher: Reinforce topics where the child needs more guidance.
Retest: Finally, the circle of reflection concludes with a retest to assess the achievement of agreed objectives.
