As a school, we believe that Reflection Time is one of the most vital steps in the student’s learning and progress. We ensure that our pupils are given time to reflect upon their learning for 45 minutes at the end of each week.
Reflection helps teachers to recognise what students have learnt, how best they learn and what they need to focus on in future. Scaffolding reflection in the classroom helps our students to develop and use the skills of peer and self-assessment – reflecting on what they have learned, and self evaluation – reflecting on how they’ve learnt it.
Reflection time integrated with M-CLAP strengthens the bond between students and teachers.
