In the spirit of fostering friendships and cultural exchange, Meru International School hosted students from Mandal Parishad Primary School for a day filled with festive activities and the joyous spirit of Diwali. This heartwarming initiative not only created cherished memories but also strengthened community bonds. 

Meru students, along with the dedicated efforts of MPPS teachers led by School Headmistress, Ms. Sarala, engaged around 130 MPPS students in various Diwali-themed activities. The Diya Lighting Ceremony, where students from both schools decorated the premises with vibrant diyas, set the stage for a festive atmosphere. 

Apart from this a dance performance was led by the Meru team with upbeat, contemporary Telugu music and dynamic dance moves turned the school space into a pulsating dance floor. Students also had the opportunity to learn about the customs, traditions, and significance of Diwali from one another, thereby promoting cultural understanding and harmony. Exciting games, Rangoli competition and fun activities have been planned to keep everyone engaged and entertained. On a good note, we ended the event by distributing a delectable spread of traditional Diwali sweets and savories to the students. 

Meru Diwali event not only brought smiles to the faces of the students involved but also created a sense of unity and understanding among the community.
