Ms. Sai Tejaswi, recognized for her presentation on Inclusive Education

At the forefront of advocating for inclusive education, Sai Tejaswi, the Cambridge English Facilitator at Meru International School – Tellapur, has garnered recognition for her insightful presentation on the challenges of preparing teachers for inclusive education. She secured the 2nd prize at the National Seminar on Inclusive Education Challenges and Issues, held on April 13th, 2024. The seminar, hosted by Ushodaya M.Ed College in Chodavaram, Anakapalli District, AP, brought together educators and experts to delve into crucial topics surrounding inclusive education.

In her presentation, Sai Tejaswi underscored the paramount importance of adequately training teachers to cater to the diverse needs of students, particularly those requiring special attention. Sai Tejaswi emphasized that effective strategies in teacher training programmes must encompass practical application, hands-on experience, collaborative learning communities, and the integration of research-based practices.

With her insightful contributions, Sai Tejaswi shed light on the complexities of inclusive education and highlighted the indispensable role of educators in fostering an inclusive learning environment. Her recognition at the national level not only celebrates her individual achievement but also amplifies the commitment of Meru International School – Tellapur towards promoting inclusive practices in education.
