NAVADEEP has been practicing Gymnastics since many years now and has participated and won many medals at the district level competitions.
We are proud to announce that our Meruvian D Jayanth has won 2 bronze medals at the national Finswimming Championship organised by Underwater Swimming Federation of India and affiliated with the Swimming federation of India(SFI) The event was held in Ponda, Goa in the month of November, 2021.
D Jayanth represented the state of Telangana in the under 17 years’ category in the 50m APNEA, 200M SURFACE SWIMMING, 100 FREESTYLE, 50M FREESTYLE, 4*100M RELAY.
He had to qualify as top 8 swimmers in 12 heats (1heat=8 swimmers) to secure the bronze medal. Around 800 players across 25 states participated in the competition.
Jayanth is practicing now for the competitions to be conducted at the South zone.
He has been practicing the sport for 2 years under the guidance of John Siddiqui. (ex air force officer) He thanks his parents for support and motivation all throughout.
We are proud to announce that our Meruvian Shivathmika has won the Gold medal at the All India National Karate Championship held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand in the month of October, 2021.
Around 1500 players across 20 states participated in the competition and Shivathmika represented the state of Telangana in the under 12 years category.
